Deine Blogs sind großartige Fundgruben des Wissens und insbesondere die abwegigeren und scheinbar unnützen Infos sind es, die mich begeistern. Großartig , der Blog . Ich hab da noch irgendwo den Fernsehmitschnitt des Interviews von Alexis Korner im DDR – Fernsehn in astreinem deutsch rumliegen und ich saß mit meinem Spulentonbandgerät daneben und gelte seitdem als infiziert . Kann ich das weitergeben ?

Once more let me hip you. There is some difficulty with your downloads, There arrive incomplete. I have tried both methods off downloading and the problem persists. This a difficulty with your site.

I use WinRAR v.4.20
What program do you use to encode them, maybe I need to upgrade.

Lieber Riffmaster, seit einigen Monaten erhalte ich bei jedem Versuch, deine .rar Dateien zu entpacken die Meldung: Open (1967).rar is not RAR archive. Diese Fehlermeldung erhalte ich nur bei deinen Dateien. Gibt es eine Lösung für dieses Problem? Besten Dank, Nirankar

What a terrific site. I stumbled onto your site looking for any reference to Doug Riley performing on Ray Charles 1969 “Doing his thing” album. Ray must have heard the “Silhouettes”, a Toronto R&B band with Doug Riley. More than just his keyboard playing it was likely Doug’s arranging skills that interested Charles and which
contributed to the “sound” of the album.

Another Doug Riley “influence” – Bob Seger’s hit “Night Moves” was recorded in Toronto. It’s definitely Doug Riley’s arrangement and keyboards that you hear. Doug told me that Seger hated that song. However it ended up being his biggest hit.
