In 1980, after a three year break, Ginger Baker (well known for his celebrated sucess with bands like “Cream” and “Blind Faith”) decided to become active again. Together wir John Mizarolli and other musicians he founded the band “Energy”.
Energy took an extensive European tour after only two weeks rehearsal. Baker an his band presented their public an interesting conglomeration of Funk, Rock, Blues and Soul.
Unfortunately, Energy dissolved after the tour. So we could glad that their live material could be offered, Energy having never entered a studio.
This show was recorded live on March 10, 1980 at the Fabrik, Hamburg / Germany.
